City Committee meetings:
Our monthly Comittee meetings are usually held on the 1st Thursday of the month at the Minnie Howard School on W. Braddock Rd., just west of the King/Quaker/Braddock intersection (near the Bradlee Shopping Center). Meetings are in the cafeteria; enter from the parking lot side of the buildling. Check calendar for the next meeting. • Directions: Use interactive map.
• Parking: Surface lot (free). • Bus: DASH (#5/#6 - see routes & schedules) or Metrobus (#8S/#25 - see routes & schedules) to Bradlee. Walk 2 blocks to Minnie Howard School. Campaign volunteers:
Local volunteers for John McCain and the GOP ticket in 2008 are welcome at the Va. Victory/McCain office on S. Clark St. in Crystal City, just off Jeff Davis Hwy. (Rte. 1). This is a street-level office; enter from the plaza. • Directions: Use interactive map.
• On-street parking: Metered on various streets (free after 6 pm). • Garage parking: Underground @Crystal Shops (free after 4 pm and on weekends). Enter from 15th St or Crystal Dr. (see map), then walk 1 block north. • Rail: Metrorail (Blue/Yellow line) to Crystal City station (18th St.), then walk 3 blocks north. • Bus: Metrobus to Crystal City station (see routes and schedules.), then walk 3 blocks north. Volunteers for Jim Gilmore are welcome at Gilmore for Senate HQ headquarters on S. Washington St. in Old Town Alexandria, ½ mi. north of the Beltway. • Directions: Use interactive map.
