Voting in Alexandria

Voters in Alexandria participate in elections for City, state and Federal offices. Most City officials (Mayor, Council, School Board) are elected in May elections, held every three years. Other officials are elected in November, with Federal offices in even-numbered years, and state offices in odd-numbered years.

ARCC encourages all eligible Alexandria residents to register and to exercise their right to vote in every election. We invite you to meet our GOP candidates running at all levels, and to support their campaigns.
