Older and disabled voters

All polling places in the City of Alexandria are wheelchair-accessible.

Voters with disabilities may bring someone to help with voting, or may request an election official to assist. Polling places have magnifying devices available for those with limited vision. Any voter over age 65, or who has difficulty walking, may request curbside voting, where an election official will bring a voting machine or ballot to the voter's car.

In lieu of voting in person, older voters or those with disabilities may wish to vote absentee by mail.

More information on services for older and disabled voters is available from the City Elections Office and the State Board of Elections.
