- Candidate filing deadline is Fri., Jan. 23
- Nomination by Republican city canvass on Sat., Feb. 7 (10 am - 2 pm)
Offices to be elected: School Board (all 9 members)
- Candidate filing deadline is Tue., Mar. 3
- Races are non-partisan, so no party nominations are made
Voter registration deadline for general: Mon., Apr. 6
General Election Day: Tue., May 5 (Polls open 6 am - 7 pm)

- Candidate filing deadline was Fri., Dec. 4, 2008
- Nomination by Republican State Convention on Sat., May 30
Offices to be elected: City Sheriff, Commonwealth's Attorney
- Candidate filing deadline is Fri., Apr. 10
- If contested, nomination by Republican city primary on Tue., June 9 (6 am - 7 pm)
Offices to be elected: State Delegate (45th & 46th Districts)
- Candidate filing deadline is Fri., Apr. 10
- If contested, nomination by Republican district primaries on Tue., June 9 (6 am - 7 pm)
